Just joined this forum and was looking to pick your brilliant minds. Just added a Fujita CAI system to my 2007 Maxima. I live in West Jordan Utah and of course we do get rain and snow here. I have read a few things here and there about water going into the motor. Legitamately, what do I need to worry about when it comes to water going into the motor? Car washes, wet roads, puddles, standing water, what can these do? Seems like more a pain in the rear to have on of these if you live in a state that has any kind of precipitation.

Thanks for your help.

you need a Hydroshield from AEM for your filter.

i will keep out all the water, but not restrict your airflow.

I don't think that AEM makes a hydroshield. Injen makes the hydroshield and the measurements it fits don't fit a Fujita air filter.

Do you know something that I don't?

where exactly is the filter located at? i doubt seriously you will suck any air up there.. if its anything like the injen CAI you wont need to worry about it.. i had one for a year and a half with no problems..

The filter is located in the wheel well just in front of the left front wheel.
