i have Nissan maxima 2001 full option VQ30 automatic gear im tird too much with this car i feel there is no torque its like 1.8 car and take too much fuel cuaz im always push more acceleration to let car run

i sent my car to maxima garage maybe he has any idea about this problem he try 2 days try change
1- MAF
2- clean throttle body
3 -change TPS
4- chk fuel pump and change 2 regulator
5- 6 coil and plugs
chk all pipe for air leak but its ok all
and car still need push half acceleration to run

i read there is maxima coming 220 hp and 230 hp if my car 220 hp it will be this big defrant ?

i read also this ECU need to program or can change hp chip is this correct ? to increase power ?

How many miles does you car have on it?

On my 4th generation Maximas and I30s, when the cars get over 100,000 miles, I change the O2 sensors with NTK/NGK OEM spec. So far it gives them more pep and better mileage.

That is 150371 miles. If you Maxima is still running the original O2 sensors at that mileage, they are over due for a change.

I have purchased 2 used Maximas at that mileage/KM and found the cars still had the original O2 sensors. After changing the O2 sensors the cars had better accelleration and produced better fuel mileage.

That car does not have O2 sensors. If you look at the picture of the engine bay there are no O2 connectors shown on the front of the engine.

Your engine is slightly different than the ones here in the US.

Are you saying you have to keep your foot on the gas pedal to keep the car running (like when you are stopped)?

It could be the idle air control valve is bad. You can try removing it and cleaning it, and see if that helps.

Does your car have a catalytic converter in the exhaust system?

Here is a picture of the catalytic converter (I kind of doubt you have one).

Have you checked to see if the fuel injectors are working properly?

If you have a catalytic converter, it can become clogged. You can either replace it with a new one, remove the filtering material inside, or replace it with a piece of straight piping.

As for your fuel injectors, you can try running a cleaner through your fuel system. You can remove the injectors and have them tested, cleaned and have new o-rings installed.

I'd start troubleshooting at checking for ECU fault codes, following this I'd also do a compression test to see if you have low compression in one or more cylinders that may be impeding performance. You say it begins feeling sluggish when it gets warm, it may also be coilpacks failing as they get warm. Checking the first 2 though will give the best base to work from.

Dear,
I have the A33 series maxima GV, Year 2000.
Are you saying that you can't exceed the 80 Km/h limit ?
