Having trouble with caliper pins sticking
When I pull out the pins from the caliper the grease has turned to dry powder
Has happened several times
Always make sure the rubber boots for caliper pins are on good and there
is enough grease inside the caliper hole, on the pins, and inside the rubber boot
Pads are never worn down
Wife swears she is not riding brakes or stopping too fast etc

Any ideas of what is wrong and what to do? Have currently changed to Permatex Caliper grease (blue) rated to 3000 degrees.

Sounds like you're on the right track. I'd pull the pin every month or so to see how the new grease is holding up.

One guy suggested the rotors were too thin but they are almost new

I think they need to be rebuilt or replaced (150,000 miles)

I think they are beginning to make noise again :gotme
