Nissan Matic K Alternatives

Good evening all,

I'm sorry if this has been asked already, but my search skills are somewhat limited...

Is there a viable alternative to the Nissan Matic K transmission fluid? I just changed it (using Matic K), but I was thinking ahead for the next time I do it.

I'd rather not pay the thieving dealership in my area again for the service. Are Red Line, Royal Purple, or Amsoil acceptable stand-ins?

Just buy the right stuff. There is too much at stake to mess around with questionable substitutes. Buy the fluid and have someone else do it if their labor is too high.
You might find the Matic K on line cheaper some where too.
