In Japan and the U.S. the Nissan 370Z is available in a high-performance Nismo trim but for European fans the specially tuned coupe is strictly off limits. As some solace, Nissan is offering its European customers a special edition model named after Germany’s renowned Nurburgring circuit. The special edition model is inspired by the yellow Nissan 370Z race car that took part in the recent Nurburgring 24-hour race. It features a number of performance modifications and is limited to just 80 examples. Not surprisingly, pricing of the vehicle reflects this limited availability and has been set at €50,400 (approximately $71,280).

Each vehicle features a numbered plaque, as well as unique 19in OZ Racing alloy wheels shod with 285mm tires in the rear and 255 tires up front, plus a Cobra performance exhaust system. A special ring card with €150 ($212) of credit will also be offered to customers, which they can use for public track days on the Nurburgring circuit.

Apart from the new exhaust system, the car’s powertrain has been left untouched which means it features the latest 3.7L V6 engine with 332hp (247kW) and 270lb-ft (366Nm) on tap. Nissan’s six-speed manual with the SynchroRev Match function is standard.

Wow, I cant imagine there are $30,000 worth of mods on that Z. You could almost buy a GTR for that.

I could be wrong though, the details aren't very specific

Is it just me or do those pics like just like any other 370?

71k?! I hope it can compete with the likes of the m3 and GTR.

€50,400 (~ US$71,280) - vehicle features a numbered plaque- unique 19in OZ Racing alloy wheels shod w/ 285R and 255F tires- Cobra performance exhaust system- A special ring card with €150 ($212) of credit- the car’s powertrain has been left untouched: 3.7L V6 engine with 332hp (247kW) and 270lb-ft (366Nm) on tap- Nissan’s six-speed manual with the SynchroRev Match function is standard.
I'm more curious as to why the Nismo edition is off limits. I wonder if the Nismo engine can't meet emission standards or the top 4 marks from Germany didn't want to be out done.

In any case, I wonder how special thos OZ Racing wheels are?How unique is the Cobra exhaust?Doe the final price include VAT?Is the interior still going to be spartan like the Nismo? Will it still get some/all of the aero pieces?

And those pics are of a stock Sport 370. The wheels give it away.

Worst "special edition" ever.It costs too much and gives too little.

Access on the Nurburgring is cheap already and available without Nissan opening the door. Thousands go every year.

I agree the alloys might be unique, but it's not worth the money.

I believe the starting MSRP on the GTR is around $80k,so close enough to own the GT-R instead if you ask me
