Nissan Largo 1/90

I have a friend with a nissan largo 1/90 import--he pulled it apart to work on & now after putting back together does not have timing right.I would desperately like to know the timing procedure for the fitting of timing belt & location of timing marks. So it is a 2.0 liter diesel engine I'm guessing?
