Hi there

I own an European Nissan Micra, which is very similar to the Nissan Kicks with regards to equipment. I have been experiencing issues with the AUTO climate control, which is not setting the temperature to the desired one.

I have browsed through some topics on how to trim the temperature sensor to the temperature felt by the passengers but only found info for the Rogue models. Has anyone attempted this procedure on a Kicks?

Please, any help is greatly helpful!

Thanks!

Welcome aboard, Ev!

That's going to be a tough one, since we've just recently gotten the Kicks in the US.

This may be a dumb question, but considering your car is still under warranty, have you discussed with your local dealer / service facility?

Hi AZhitman

thanks for your reply. I took the car to the dealership and the salesperson told me he own the same car with a similar trim and his AC works the same way, se sets it to 62F and never really bothered about it being accurate or not...

He told me though he could take the car to the garage to investigate it further, but I was afraid it would take days... That is why I am trying this first!

Hey amc49

The user manual does now specify this procedure. This is the reason why I am reaching out for users with similar issues. Thanks!

Tell the salesperson I said to shut up. His opinion means nothing.

Speak with YOUR service advisor (or the Service Manager). You paid a lot of money for that car, and it's under warranty.

Keep us posted!
