Nissan KA24DE In a 89' 240SX?

Well, I have found a Nissan Altima KA24DE engine, Its says its FWD. (Obviously)

But my question is, can I put it in my 240SX?

I have a blown KA24E, and am looking to upgrade to the DOHC KA24DE.

Would this work?

I know that I need more parts than just the engine, But I need to know it will work.

Don't quote me on this, but I'm pretty sure it's more trouble than it's worth, just look on craigslist for one someone pulled out of a 240. If I'm not wrong, I believe the FWD version would put the airbox and stuff pointing towards the firewall, along with several other things.

In reality though, the FWD engine *could* work, but you'd be buying / finding a TON of parts to make it work right...simply not worth it.

You should be able to find one out of a 240sx pretty reasonably with all the engine swaps going on.

Many are probably dying to unload their KA24DE's and this may be a good excuse for them

it will include everything, its a complete drop out. and if you already have the manual transmission then yes it will bolt right up. nothing from the ka24de is compatible with the ls1 so everything int he engine bay excluding master cylinder will be included.

i talked to a shipping company that said 300 with insurance. from my house to yours. it may be cheaper if i ship it to a business or something. i'll see if i can find anything cheaper.
