Nissan Juke headed to showrooms in October

Nissan has released another picture of the latest addition to its line up of crossovers. It's clearly inspired by the Qazana concept, but appears to be too small to be based on the Qashqai platform.

The 370Z-inspired rear boomerang lights are represented as on almost all new Nissan designs. This one should fit into the lineup between the Nissan Note and the Nissan Qashqai, and will expand Nissan's broad range even further.

It will be built alongside the Qashqai and Qashqai+2 at Nissan's Sunderland plant in the UK, and looks like it might not make it to the US. We'll have more details after the global media unveiling on February 10th, and it'll be revealed to the general public at the Geneva Motor Show in March.

The only thing I don't really like is the lights way up on the tops of the fenders. Aside from that it manages to be different and interesting without being ugly. I actually think the round headlights go really well with the Nissan corporate grille.

First off, I don't think the headlight setup conforms to US safety regs. I think you have to have turn indicators down on the bumper area, which means split headlight design with the high beams atop the fenders won't work in a production model. I also don't think the front bumper will go into production like that.. just a guess.

I think it would look a million times better if the wheel arches weren't quite so high, the front bumper didn't come up front under the car so high, and the headlights being split on top of the fenders... strange!

NO. You are not allowed to complain about that.* It is a GOOD thing. Trucks are tall. And people often lift them and make them taller. What that means for people in normal cars is that we get headlights shining right at our faces. Ford has moved the headlights as low as possible on the new SD F series. This means there are fewer SD fords out there blinding everyone else on the road.

All of you "hate it" & "kill it with fire types" need to come up with some of your own designs, Spidey-sense tells me we'll get something like this...
