Nissan Intelligent Key

I just bought a new 2011 Rogue and I am unable to lock the door by remote using the Intelligent Key fob. I can lock the doors manually from the inside and I can unlock the doors from the outside by pressing the button on the door handle, but standing outside of my unlocked vehicle I cannot lock it using the fob. I would appreciate knowing if anyone else has experienced this, and what it took to correct the problem.

First off, welcome to NICO and congrats on the new purchase!

I've only had brief experiences with the Nissan key fobs, so unfortunately I don't have an answer of how to fix it. My suggestion would be to take it to the dealership and let them know what's going on. But I'm sure someone in here will be able to chime in soon enough and maybe give you further insight on the issue.

maybe you just got a bad key fob. just take it back to the dealership and see what they can do with it.
