93 pathfinder with the clairon system

Rear speakers roof mounted, front speakers in doors.

ALL 5X7 despite what futureshop may tell you. These are not the same as the 93 pathfinders with 6x9 speakers in the cargo compartment sides

Sure it's not a 94? Nissan does weird things with manuf. dates. My 03 Max was built in May 2002

Correction. My 5.5 gen Maxima GLE WITH bose had 5.25 inch speakers in the rear and an 8 inch subwoofer in the rear deck. The fronts were 6.5 inch. You may want to clarify before someone goes out and purchases the wrong speaker sizes.

Within this section it states that the tweeter size in the pillars for a 2003 Maxima are 1in. Is this the same case for the 05 Maxima? Also is it pretty easy to replace yourself with after market tweeters?

Thanks for the help

1" is pretty standard. ease of replacement really depends on how nissan mounted them but shouldn't be too bad.

I have just bought a second hand Nissan Almera Sport 3-Door Hatchback (year of manufacture 2001). I want to replace all the speakers as the factory fitted ones sound awful right now. Could anyone tell me how many there are and of what size? Are they easy to replace for someone who has little DIY experience when it comes to cars.

Any advice is much appreciated.

Roger.

4x6 front, 6.5 rear. Same as the coupe, just in side panels instead of on the parcel shelf.

It could. But, I guess if it looks like a 6.5, then it's probably a 6.5.

I have to replace my speaker sin my 95 base model 240SX, had 6.5" front and rear but they were stolen. As I remember the speakers didn't fit right. how do I measure the stock speaker locations to order the proper size? Also what size tweeter is it that I have on my A pillar?

Finally how big of a speaker would I be able to get in the space under the quarter window? Would like to put an 8" sub or at least a mid range speaker in there to cover the full sound spectrum.

In my 02 sentra, (b16 i believe)(standard audio) the rear deck were 6.5" the front door were same except they had their own bracket, so the hole is about 6.75". I was lazy and just mounted them with 3 screws. sounded great. the front door i used a shallow mount speaker dont remember actual depth but they were pioneer.

my brother purchased a 2010 sentra, he had all 6x9's front and rear deck. again using shallow mount in the front door.

I just purchased a 2012 versa and it appears to be 6.5's in both front/rear doors. I will update if otherwise.

Bose4" Front4" Rear
Correction, 1990 Z32 had 6.5" rears in the Bose system, 91-96 had 4" all around. Edited OP.
