Hey guys, wanting to get the inset of my fog lights (see pic) painted. I've heard there are three different silvers in the 03-06 lineup, does anyone have the code? I dunno what silver my car is.

Sorry for the big pic, its the only one I had uploaded.

Thanks guys.

Don't worry about your pic size...it's a sweet ride so I don't mind looking at it again!

I'm pretty sure your colour is called "Brilliant Silver" as for the code...the service dept. at Infiniti should have it

So what is the difference between Diamond Silver and Sparking Silver?

Its a Skyline so it would be the JPN code.

Wow, old thread. Are you sure these are accurate? I rang my local Nissan service department today looking for a paint pen to do a minor touch up job and quoting the KY0 colour code comes up as 'Platinum'.

I'm assuming it's the darker champange colour silver.

I pasted that from Infiniti site I believe. Well it has been 3 years so my brain might be a little rusty.

The easiest way to see what color code is yours to open your driver door and check out the sticker. There are 2 stickers on the frame. 1 is with the tire pressure and load other with the VIN and barcode. You need the one with a bar code. If you look at that sticker it says color and under there is a code. That is the color code of your car.

Hope after 3 years I solved your problem. LOL

Sooooooo are you getting ready to sell yours and get a 370GT?

JDM cars don't have that sticker on the drivers side door, the only sticker there is for tyre pressure and another sticker which is all in Japanese. I'm thinking I'm just going to have to take my chances and see if it's the correct colour.

Yeah, I'd like to upgrade in 6-12 months, still waiting for the import prices to come down a bit, and the Yen to the dollar is pretty crap at the moment.

I'll be hunting an 08 370GT SP with orange leather.

Orange leather? Sounds sweet. We don't have that here. Booohooo Infiniti has verry limited paint colors and interior trim colors. Especially for the US market.

All these changes between the JDM and us version. Wait till Poyzi shows up. He works in the parts dep. He definitely knows better than both of us.

Hack between the States and Canada there are few changes in color. It is just a name change but still pretty silly. Same color and has different name.
