I love that you are stressing a point about how Americans are stupid and you spelled too wrong.

I wish Suzuki would burst onto the scene with a hot little rwd something or other.

If you need a fuel efficient RWD vehicle, here ya go. It's even renewable and biodegradable for you tree-huggin hippie types.

Mazda wants to bring back the RX-7, but seeing as no automaker has any money to do anything, I doubt that it will make it past concept.

If the Genesis coupe does well I think that you will see other auto makers re-launch and/or speed up their compact RWD coupe concepts.

Sort of like how Mitsubishi tried to play catch up after the WRX was released.

The prospect of a turbo4 RWD coupe with and optional LSD has me really interested. Not to mention my two siblings have had great ownership experiences with their '02 Elantras.

Cutting this car was probably a very good business decision.

Little FR sports cars in the $20-30k range aren't ever going to be moneymakers.

As said, if the Genny coupe does well, Nissan may re-think.

In the meantime, stop kvetching and buy a Genesis Coupe. It'll be fantastic, and if no one buys it, then the other companies may not build another car in that segment ever again.
