Nissan is joining the Australian V8 super cars in 2013. They are changing over to a similar format to the Nascar car of tomorrow single chassis setup, and will be able to compete with essentially just an engine package. And just in case anyone was curious, V8 Supercars are scheduled to race in Austin, TX in 2013. Here's the link to the article.

And the length of time the motor lasts. Racing motors have a 20-30 hour lifespan due to them being built on the loose end of every spectrum.
