nissan has to replace your rockers??

I was reading into replacing my 89 coupes rockers and i found someone that said nissan has to replace your rockers for free. does anyone know if thats b/s or not? if i had to guess i'd say it it but i thought it was worth looking into since rockers are about 470 a side. any help would be really appreciated!
