Hey, i have a 1991 Nissan Hardbody King cab and i am going to do a lowering kit. I have blocks for the back and lowering arms for the front. I need to know what kind of shocks i need to get because i don't think i can use the KYBs that i have on there right now. I heard Pinto shocks and some Drop 2 shocks might work but i just want some more opinions. I also what to know what size of rims and tires i can put on that will be able to tuck. Thanks.posting.php?mode=post&f=36#

Shock choice depends on how you intend to use the truck after it has been lowered. Cruiser? Drifter? Hauler? Drop shocks are popular with the lowrider crew while KYB are more popular with the performance truck folks. From what little I know about tucking wheel on a Nissan I can say with confidence the at the very minimum Pathfinder chrome 15" wheels will tuck. It all depends on the offset.

I intend on just using it to cruise around. I just don't want to spend a ton of money on shocks.I need to get new wheels anyway cause i got 17s on there with an 8 inch tire
