Greetings fellow Nissan drivers!

The other day I was switching my tires and noticed some wetness on the fuel tank. Sure enough it was gas. It seems my 1987 Hardbody is beginning to have a bit of a gas leak. :frown:

I've found a 91 gas tank from another Hardbody. My question being.. Will this directly mount on to my 87?

If anyone can help, it would be much appreciated.

It may be the fuel pump and not the tank.
The hard lines on the exterior tend to rust thru.

Could also be the rubber seal for the sending unit. Those rot out.
