So i have decided to do a 4bt cummins swap into my 1993 hardbody and one of the biggest challenges is weight the engine weighs about 800 lbs with oil and i dont think the stock torsion bars are gonna hold it, and before anyone says it im not doing a solid axle swap. So any input would be nice and liks to videos other forums and part are much appreciated

Wow! Welcome aboard... big job you got there, but that's gonna be awesome.

I'd start by replacing the OEM torsion bars with Sway-A-Way which are close to 4mm thicker. Then, I'd go with Daystar progressive poly bump stops, and I'd replace every piece of hardware with grade 8 or heavier components.

This might help: how-to-torsion-bar-replacement-and-poly ... 52401.html

Keep us posted!
