Purchased truck #3 last week for less than $400. This is the fourth Hardbody I have owned in the last 5 years and my 6th Nissan/Datsun truck I have owned in the last 10. The PO was going to take it to the recyclers but thought he'd give CL a chance first. I bit. It's not as bad as he made it out to sound. A rear main leak has preserved the frame all these years. It does have a vacuum leak and the transmission is a bit worn but she still drives and shifts after 400,000 miles. I was going to parts her but I think I might just drive her as-is. And since I am soooo creative with naming my vehicles...meet White!

Its about to wake ours from its winter slumber, I wouldn't mind getting another one to restore of customize. They are really good little trucks. I had a Mighty Max in the early 90's and really like the way they handled but it had some issues that kept popping up like three throwout bearing fork arms broke in 70k miles and timing belt broke after 30k mile from it being replaced. I always wanted to put a Buick 231v-6 in one. :)
