It saddens me that it's so heavy and has such a large engine, also I'd prefer a proper manual.

But, I must say that I can't argue with its Nurburgring performance...it was spectacular. I do not know how they make a 3900 pound car handle like that, but whatever they've done with the AWD system is spectacular. The RB26 was kind of a heavy motor, so I can see why they decided to go all new for the motor.

I think they went with a larger motor, 3.8 liters, was so that they could make large, reliable power and make the car have plenty of low-end torque. Apparently its very easy to drive on the streets and has an awesome powerband.

I'd love to drive/own one, but not for 100k with thet dealer markups.

Yea i 100% agree also with you that car is fast no doubt, But Drifting wise........... Theres gotta be a S*** load of mods to make that car drift constantly. I dont think we'll see the new gtr as a drift car, Atleast not yet...
