I looking into purchasing the Nissan Gloria grill from JDMPalace and he says he can get them but there are two kind available turbo and non-turbo. I need to find out the difference in the turbo and non-turbo Gloria's grill. I know there are a diffrence between the Cedric and the Gloria, but im unsure about the Gloria's two models. If any one knows please feel free to pipe up. Thanks guys!.

Neither of them will work without serious modification. I believe it has to do with the different safety standards between Japan and the US.ML

There is only one grill that I know of that can be fit without modification. Not sure if it is what you would be looking for since its our grill just with a nissan logo.

All the other grills I have found require you to swap out the headlights too. The reason is that there are basically two version of the Y34 in Japan.

They refer to them as "previous term" and "later term" I think. If you look at the headlights and grill you will notice that on the previous term the healights are less angled than the later term, which is what our cars are. This causes the grill to be shorter than our grill.

If you decide to do the swap keep in mind that there are two types of headlights available.

Both are from the "previous term" and is not HID. They can be found for like $500 through some vendors. The others are HID and "previous term" and will work with the other grills out there. I looked into it and they were nearly $1000 just for the headlights. There may also be some wiring issues, nobody seems to know though. I was told by a buddy that we could swap out the innards of my headlights into a non HID japan one but it sounds like a pain to me.

There is one on ebay right now. They say its the one that you don't have to switch the headlights for too.

True, but keep in mind, the US spec bumper is further out in the middle due to the crash guard. This J-spec grill will fit the headlights, but won't follow the contour of the US spec bumper in the middle. It will be sunkin in....just a heads up.

Yes, it is highly noticable. I personally would not put money into getting a grill that has a nissan logo on it for a y34. It is preety much the same grill as on the m45 only sitting a little sunk on your front fence.

my .02 pence

It looks like the bumper has a "beak"...it sticks out and is fairly noticable. Eyedea is right, the grill is baically the same as the US spec, but with a Nissan badge.

I guess its the whole "JDM" thing. We want what they have. When you go and take off and re-badge the car as a Cedric or Gloria it makes sense to run the Nissan Grill.

it is funny though. From searching on yahoo auctions japan they seem to want what we have our badges and grill go for some pretty good money there.

The infiniti grills go for a preety penny on yahoo auctions.

I am still set on making that modification Jadem45, if you remember well.

I know it just a simple badge but, If was just as easy as taking off the infinti emblem and putting on the nissan one it would be great. I finally recieved the gloria badges and i wanted to to the conversion minus the steering wheel.

Well, does any one have an idea how to place the nissan logo on the front without having change the grill
