I just leased a 2014 Frontier SV and it has a very rough ride. It also oscillates left to right while hitting a bumpy road. Any suggestions on what may cause this. I found out the design is different as the springleafs are above the rear axle? I may be wrong not a mechanic. Please help.

When new , vehicles have their tires aired up to the maximum pressure for shipping. The chances are small. but the dealership's make-ready dept. may not have dropped it to the normal pressure.

I was going to say that. If the tire psi is too high then they didn't complete the pre-delivery inspection correctly.

I am amazed at how many of these new Nissan 2014 trucks are having issues.I am even more amazed at the Nissan mechanics that are clueless.

Thanks for your feedback. I personally lowered the PSI to 32 IBS. Pretty much the same. Needless to say, I'm very disappointed I cannot enjoy my new truck. I have owned four previous Nissans, 2 trucks never had this problem before.

That sucks. Have you tried contacting Nissan customer service and explaining the issue to get their take on it? If the tire psi didn't fix the problem then the alignment might be off which can happen during transport. Still, all this should have been noticed during the dealership PDI and dealt with then. Did it drive like this during your test drive before signing on the dotted line?

I drove it for about 20-25 minutes and the salesperson was alongside me in the passenger seat. He was a big guy, I guess his weigh offset much of the bounciness and sway. I just made a bad deal. I complained about the ride later but I had already signed on the dotted line. I noticed other Nissan Trucks and they are lower and have much more of a solid look to them as my previous purchases. This model the SV looks and feels like an-off road truck. It has a great engine and bells and whistles but runs like every bump on the road is a target and the truck let's you know it.

Have you looked the shocks over for any signs of damage or improper installation?

Nothing unusual. I am going to set up an appointment with the dealer to look at the undercarriage and see what be wrong. Consumer magazine states the ride is "choppy". It's not choppy it's turbulent.
