I love the interior, sans the fake wood...

Just wish it didn't look like a minivan that was blown out of shape (kind of like the old Looney Tunes cartoons when explosives would go off).

Although, I think that the lounge style interior is better than the Chrysler / Dodge Cereal Cartons... Looks like it should be a camper... in a good way.

Why is there a "Time Out" button on the steering wheel?

The "Time Out" button, like in the cartoons, lowers a megaphone from the ceiling and shouts "TIME OUT!!!!" while simultaneously filling the cabin (b-pillar - rearward) with foam. This is the latest innovation in quieting unruly kids.

It was originally the "Holocaust" button, but human rights activists forced Nissan to tone it down a bit.

I am not a fan of the new "Nissan nose." It just looks awkward and ugly. This is the same nose they used on the '09 Murano redesign (which looks even more like a Hyundai than ever before).

In case you get tired of driving but don't want to pull over.

article wrote:A one-button audio muting “Time Out” system, with the controller located in the lower center portion of the steering wheel, allows the driver to simultaneously mute all audio playing in the FORUM and broadcast the driver’s voice over all interior speakers – enabling quick and easy communication to both rows of rear seats.

“The ‘Time Out’ system gives the driver and passengers a sometimes much-needed time out, while the rear zone cameras enable observation – and interaction – when needed, while helping drivers keep their primary attention on the road,” explained Campbell.
