Shift thank for fixing the picture I appreciate it.

Altima J, He basically centered the unit on the panel and using either fiberglass or some kind of plastic he created the two bars. Once he cut out the bars he sprayed them with this adhessive and wrapped grey leather around the bars to match the center panel.

It looks really good. I like how it says Bose at the top, if you wanted to cover the Pioneer logo it would look completely stock. Well done!!

I actually wanted to do that, the guy told me that there is a clear coat painted over the unit. If you have any suggestions on how to do it I will def try.

Wow, I have no idea how I would do that... I didn't know there was a clear coat on the D3. I'll take a look at the Pioneer logo on my D3 when I go to work later on and see if I have any ideas on how to cover it up.

The logo looks small enough that maybe some black touch up paint would work but I don't know how the end result would look. At least it's not a raised logo, that would make it even more difficult. I'd recommend asking someone who's painted things on their car before... I think Dangeris has some experience in that area if I'm not mistaken.
