Hi,

I have had my Exa since new, almost 31 years old now and its a great car.
Unfortunately, I just found out from the mechanic that the metal connection posts on the intake manifold have rusted out. I have been told these are glued or pressed (and not bolted) into the thing and cannot be easily replaced. I think I know what he means from images posted here.

So, my first dumb question:

Is the Nissan Silvia S13/180SX CA18 Engine Inlet Manifold a direct replacement? Will it just drop in to the 1989 Series 2 Exa or is it different in other ways?

Thanks
Leslie.

In the US, it was Called a Pulsar NX. Here at least, the intake manifold was different depending on the year. Can you post of pic of your intake manifold?

SOME CA18 FWD and RWD intake manifolds are basically exactly the same, just the TB and end plate of the plenum are swapped to different ends.
