Hi all,

I did search about this but couldn't find anywhere. Hope you can help.

I have a Nissan Dualis 07 imported from Japan into New Zealand.

There is a cable (which I assume is for aux input) inside the central compartment. (see pic attached)

Do you guys know what can I plug using this cable? I have never seen this type of plug.

I have also managed to dissemble the dash and checked the back of the unit to see if there was an aux port to plug A/V but no luck. There's only one port available (see pic - port highlighted in red) which I also have no idea what is for.

Any help?

Thanks everyone and if you are in NZ and have the same car I figure out how to connect an iPhone via bluetooth. Can only use the phone and audio (via Skype) functionality but no music.

Cheers

:welcome:

Really got me stumped! :gotme Is the head unit OEM? Sadly, FSM's for Nissan products outside the North American market apparently are not readily available.

Hi Rogue One,

Yes it's OEM. I have been searching on Google + Google Japan using google translate to see if I find anything but no luck! I think I will get rid of this unit and install an aftermarket Android unit. The only concern is that I need to get someone who can connect the side mirror camera to the unit as well.

Anyway, I'm still searching for an answer :P

Thanks!

hi .
ive got the same problem but i have found a few solutions. i can play music from Bluetooth.
connect ur bluetooth device then click disc or the system. another fix is that the cable ur holding might be able to let us change languages or even change the map. just underneath the volume was a insert fro something. i had a look at it by lifting the flip with a key. its has a few pins and also i reazised the syestem itself has music so believe that insert must allow us to put music and maybe change the language or map asleast. if u could send me a pic of the other end of the cable i could confirm there is a fix to this problem.ive have paired my phone and i can answer calls from the device including i can talk straight from it without having to get my phone out of my pocket.the system also gives out a warning when i need to replace the engine oil. from the screen. i have a nissan dualis 2008 and mine has a screen on top on the dash board. the photo u showed of the system at the back.we that extra insert we have to purchase a aux input and it is meant o be plugged into it and wired to the hand rest like other models.this is alomost all i know about this device. im hopeing that the ned of that cable is an usb then u can try and tranfer files to the system from a laptop.
