I recently took my car in for them to replace the drivers seat since it moves every time i make a sharp turn.

I live in orange county and the dealership took my car in.They replaced the seat clamps which were loose and caused the seat to shift. They also had other recalls so they replaced the front break caliper and also replaced the rear brake pads since it was in the recalls.

I suggest people visit their local dealership 4 recalls because theres a lot for the altimas.

They let take a loaner but here you have to be 21 to get one

I believe they do and I also remember reading about a recall on the brakes too but I can't remember where I saw that. You should check http://www.alldata.com Of course you'll have to buy a subscription to see the TSBs (Technical Service Bulletins but they are very informative and if you can fix it yourself, they'll provide you with the directions on how to do it. I currently have it for my Wife's Acura TL-s and my son's TL but not my Coupe..,Maybe when I'm done modding

Anyway, according to All Data, this is what's out for the 3.5's: Both Coupe and Sedan

Automotive Recall and Technical Service Bulletin Titles for 2008 Nissan-Datsun Altima V6-3.5L (VQ35DE).

TSB Number & Issue Date TSB Title 06-079A JAN 08 Engine Controls - MIL ON/Multiple VVT DTC's Set08-009 JAN 08 Electrical - Erratic Speedometer/ABS Lamp ON08-007 JAN 08 Vehicle Tools - Tie Down Hook No Longer Supplied08-006 JAN 08 Engine - Front End Clunk While Driving06-066B DEC 07 Body - Sunroof Does Not Seal Correctly07-082 NOV 07 Suspension - Front Suspension Rattling Noise99-048P SEP 07 Electrical - Battery Testing Procedures/Equipment06-065C SEP 07 Body - Power Window 'Auto-Up' Feature Inoperative00-033D AUG 07 Brakes - Judder/Pedal Feel/Noise Diagnosis/Repair00-042A MAR 07 Air Bag System - Tampering Precautions

And this is what's out for the 2.5's:

Automotive Recall and Technical Service Bulletin Titles for 2008 Nissan-Datsun Altima L4-2.5L (QR25DE). Both Coupe and Sedan

Hope that helps!

All these recalls, and what not that you posted dangeris, they are covered by the warranty correct? Free fixes?

im pretty sure that regardless of whether or not the warranty is valid, the recalls should be a free fix because its usually a manufacturers defect and most of the time its a safety issue that they could get sued for, so it should be free

Yes it should be free. TSBs (Technical Service Bulletins) are generated when enough people complain about the same thing. Nissan / dealership should fix the problem without any charge to the consumer.
