So it happened, first accident =( thankfully with no one, long story short, snowbank pulled me in to curb and hit a light post, not toooo much damage right fender dented and scratched, and wheel popped off

so the question is, i guess i lost the lug key ( from nissan dealer ) while i was changing the tire in the snow, does anyone know by any chance if the dealer is able to get a replacement somehow?

thanks in advance

Inside of the glovebox door, there should be a key combo #. Contact Nissan and tell them you want the key made.

Ok, take the VIN number off of your Dash and then Go to the Dealership tomorrow morning. They will be able to find the key for your vehicle. Maybe they might be generic? Meaning other Versa keys might fit?

are you talking that goofy anti-theft wheel nut? the one that is "supposed" to prevent thieves from taking the wheel off you car [they would never be able to get that generic key, would they now?

Go to the dealer -- it was $40. CDN for a set of 4 nuts with key -- shouldn't cost you too much.

yeah , well i called today, apparently they dont have spares or replacements, they have their own set that they have, but just my luck they didnt have it for the versa ( apparently it was lost )

apparently the box that the dealer leaves you has the code and a number to order them so save the box if the dealer was sneaky and add the wheel locks to your car , ( i didnt know they added them until i got the car and signed everything ) , i didnt know it had the code or anything, neither did i think i would lose the key so i was S.O.L

anywho yeah luckily my mechanic had the tools and just took them off, went to dealer to buy extra set of lugnuts to replace the wheel locks, $26 for 4 lugnuts

so everything is going well so far, just got the dent to take care of

heres a pic of it
