Just finsifhed 8 injectors, 2 knock sensors & 2 O2 sensors, Fuel Pump & FPCM..argh!

Thanks for all the help with those issues guys. NICO ROCKS!

k..after all this ... got Code: 45 injector leak. Went away. I am trying to monitor with the Nissan DataScan v1.52 from Blatz. Now I am looking for some data to compare to on this VH45DE engine (California..? ) Need to know what normal O2 ..Duty Cycle, MAF, Inj Times..Stuffffffffffffshould look like. Can anyone help?

BTW.. We know the timing signal is being reported 25 degrees higher than it actually is.

THANKS GUYS !

Actually, it assumes you have set the timing at the correct 15° BTDC and calculates from there with the built in error.

Q45tech has posted injector timings vs. rpm and load, but it is a continuously variable function, so being in the ballpark is all you can expect without greater familiarity.

It's been a couple of years so my memory is fuzzy but I believe ECU code 45 on a California Q means your O2 sensors are toast and not that your injectors are leaking. Was it a stored code or had you cleared the codes after the O2 sensor install? If it doesn't come back I would say all's well.

On NDS the needle on the O2 sensor gauge should be swinging pretty fast between 10%-90%. I'm not sure on the rest of the data you're asking about.

Thanks for the input GoodyCode appeared 24hours after all the work was done. Check eng light went out but the code remains in the ECU

Got two logs with DataScanAt idle (5min spread) O2 sensors are rapidly up & down 10-90 like you said.

2nd log (15min spread out & about ..02sensors very steady 75-80 at 80mph crusie MAF 2.5

I can email theses logs if anyone wants a closer look

THANKS!

On OBDI ecu the cross over voltage for O2 is 0.45 volts so even 0.35 > 0.6 is enough for ecu to see and understand the lean > rich switch.

The old narrow band O2 just don't offer any useful ACCURATE INFO beyond leaner than or richer than 14.7 A/F.
