ha.

My number on thing with the CUBE is that once I get it, I do NOT want to modify it.

Stock suspension, stock wheels, stock everything.

I can no longer enjoy driving super low cars.

I plan on doing lots of mods, but mostly minor: ScanGauge2, pre-oiler, and several radios and antennas.

ScanGauge2 plugs into the OBD2 port, and provides you with extra info (12 gauges, including exact fuel consumption, voltage, etc), functions as a trip computer, and reads and resets trouble codes.

A pre-oiler pressurizes the oil system before you start the engine, reducing engine wear by probably 90%.

The extra radios include some ham radios, aircraft receiver, and a shortwave radio that allows be to hear radio stations around the world. Plus my XM of course.

I didn't mention that I'll be installing an APRS transmitter (Automatic Position Reporting System) that will allow anyone to track my Cube's location on the web.

Those are some decent mods, I wish there were some pics of aftermarket rims on the Cube. The stockies are holding up fine I guess.

With the coilovers, it looks even better. Man, I need to save up and get some coilovers for my V but nice stuff comes with a price.

I have contacted the US distributor for CUSCO regarding their Cube coilovers and they have not yet been tested on a US spec Cube.

While in theory, it should work, the engines are different which could change the measurements (i.e. range in which vehicle can be lowered).

Very True! At lower ride heights, suspension stroke, spring rate and damping force become very important in assuring good ride quality. Anything causing a change in weight, whether a different motor or different national safety standards may call for changes in spring rate/ damping force and stroke.

Also different corner weights may cause manufactures to use parts with different measurements. We defintiely wouldn't want any clanking due to parts that do not fit properly.

The Auto-tech Interiors, SEMA Cube is at TEIN USA as we speak, where they are conducting testing on US soil. As a matter of fact, all products to be displayed on the project will be tested in the US, for the USDM Cube owner.

I would be ordering through Yahoo Auctions Japan. Shipping is expensive so let me know what you want and i could get you a more accurate quote.
