i tried searching, but i don't think anyone asked this....

i have a 2015 rogue SV premium. the nissan connect is extremely limited as to what apps is has.

first, can i add my own apps to the list and how?

secondly, if i can't add my own app, is there a way i can get my phone screen to show up on the screen or at least the map program i use on the phone?

lastly, how can i suggest nissan make an app available? the Waze app give up to the minute traffic updates, but also lists traffic cams, speed cams, speed traps etc in live time which nissan's map program simply can't touch.

At least you gave it a shot. Maybe you could start a list of apps that Nissan should consider, and get other peoples input.

Any complaints I have with my `15 Rogue SV after 10K miles are minimal and trifle.

Except for Nissan Connect, which is a big disappointment. Service tech at dealership was courteous, but no real help. In fact, he finally suggested I Google owners' forums for solutions since he didn't have any!

Issue 1:
When going into My Apps, I get the popup, "{Pandora/iHeart/TripAdvisor/et al} unavailable at the moment. Please try later." When I try again a minute later, a 2nd popup states "No smartphone connected." I'll then disconnect the most definitely connected smartphone and a 3rd popup will state "the USB device has been disconnected." And then I'll repeat the whole process a few times, after which, it either works, or I give up. This issue happens intermittently, but most of the time (except when at the dealer).

Issue 2:
Just switched from Iphone 4s to 6s. Audible text message reading has disappeared as a menu option on the car. Very weird, since it worked fine with the 4s. (iOS 9.1 for both devices).

At the end of the day, all the functionality I'm not getting from the Rogue, I can get directly from the iphone. But wasn't the intent to provide functions and features on the dash and steering wheel so the driver didn't have to look down at his smartphone while driving?

Hello Everyone, As you can see this system software is really bug and at the very least..... As for it being useful well..... I have been having NAVIGATION problems from the first day I got my 2014 SL Tech Package Rogue ! My head unite has been replaced 3 times ! I really regret speeding the extra $$$$ for the TECH Package.

The way thing are being handled by NISSAN is horrible. The dealers just have no answers and no solution to apply. I would never buy a NISSAN vehicle again, now know how there way of costumer service is !

Well got LUCK to all of you trying to get resolution to doses issues. I for one have given up on NISSAN and just try to enjoy the ride with my ROGUE !
