Nissan CIMA grilles (guaging interest)

I was up at 5:30 this morning (I HATE to get up early too...) bidding on a nice Cima grille on Yahoo! JP, but didn't win it. I'm curious, what would you guys that want one be willing to pay for them. They would be at least $175, and there are several designs. I'll post some of the designs to see what people like. Now on the flip-side, we can sell your Q45 grille over there for well over $200 (there's one on there right now for almost $400!!), so if you buy a grille from me, I'll sell yours (if you want to that is) and take a comission from the sale and give you the rest, so you're grille might wind up "free", almost free or better than free.

Keep in mind, all of these have Nissan logos except the Grand Touring versions.



this Grand Touring version is what my buddy with a white Y33 has, and I'm torn as to wether I like it better than what I have on my Q, it's real nice.

this auction appears to be for two grilles, one is like mine, but missing the Grand Touring badge. We've asked the seller to clarify since it says 1 item.

Basically, I want to know what folks will pay before I start buying a bunch of grilles that I can't sell.

Nothing for the G50 unfortunately. I'll see what different grilles there are for F50 though, should be a few.

Here are some F50 grilles. The F50 Q45 grilles go for a grip over there! There's one right now for over $500. From what's currently on sale, it seems like they're all the same style.

I've been looking to replace my broken grille for a few months now, but I'm not at the point where I'd pay the asking price on INFINITIPARTS.COM ($240 W/o Emblem). Maybe $125.

What are these CIMA grilles selling for?

I assume you have a Y33? You can see above that some of them are currently at ~$200. The one I was bidding on this morning ended at $100, after shipping (Japan to me, then me to you) and a small profit, it would have sold here for like $200. I think when I got mine 2 years ago for $75 plus shipping, I got a deal. Seems like they're more expensive now than then.

I'll do my best to get that one. I was actually kind of thinking to keep it for myself though and have two grilles - they take all of 5 minutes to change out. I can always get one for me later though.

Man I am down for that grand touring mesh grille. When my close on my refi within the next week .5 or 2 weeks, I am down without doubt. But kind of new to the forum and wary to send my OEM grille away to someone...but from what I've heard you do quite a bit around here for folks.

There was a Cima grill on Ebay for the last month... I have been on a look out for a OEM non gold (mine is gold) - chrome grill for my G50 and I stumbled into that Cima grill a few times, I belive it was 225 plus shipping. Its no longer on Ebay thou, looks like it sold or auction just ended and might get relisted. BTW this was not in Japan but on normal http://www.ebay.com

Mine is a Y33 with the chrome grille. Not the racoon eyes. I will pay +/- $200 for one of the cima grilles. I have two Y33 grilles. I'm Willing to sell one. So we can do like u said. If you want, u can sell mine first, then use the money to buy the CIMA one. Let me know.

I'm mot a Y33 guy but I do like that second one from the top. Correction (now it's the first one) I'd have two and change them around every couple of months.

Put a chrome ring around it and it'll be identical to the Geoff Brabham Q45.

Max-powers: it's a direct bolt on deal, takes 5 minutes w/ 10mm wrench.

Paranoid: you don't have to sell your grille, it's just an option, and I see where you get your s/n. Paranoid, lol!!

Oh, man, when I was last posting here left ans right ans reading everything I remember you mentioning these grille - I only saw the non-Mesh Grand Touring then, but that Mesh Grand Touring is Definitely a winner for me - ~$225 includng everything? I am definitely down with that - jsut let me know.

And I am willing to sell OEM grill as well, and it is in near mint condition - only bug juice coating it here and there between washes, although I haven't scrutinized it to make sure there are not major defects on the underside / backside yet.

I am definitely going to have to mark this topic for watching!

I am just going to buy them as I can, so that's why I showed the different styles out there. You can't always get the one you want, since they're used and on auctions so it's always a crap shoot. You win some, you loose some. Basically, as I get them, I'll post them up. I'll try to get like 4 at a time.
