Yeah I tried to imagine how you could get hit by three trains two of which running 150mph no less. That guy had some serious bad karma going that day.

Just guessing, but I would bet money that the CEO's at GM make more than Ghosn AND that they drive GM cars. I think they understand the politics of their business. I do know that Lee Iacocca had 2 K-cars in his garage as CEO of Chrysler.

well nissan isn't exactly a Japanese car maker anymore...it's owned by Renault.

Nissan is still Japanese designed, and the drivetrains are still built in Japan, they are just financially supported by Renault. It's not the most glorious thing, but at least Nissan didn't go bankrupt; since they were well on their way to.

As far as the CEO crashing his Porsche? Not surprised. What a pansy.

Tu est travelo! Nah, you're right... well... like Sky said, it's not glorious, but it means that Nissan is still around. If I was filthy rich I'd have a Porsche as a daily driver too, the V (or G, or whatever you want to call it) would be my project

if he is a Renault exec tapped to head Nissan after the buyout why isn't he in a Renault? He's in a German car, no corperate or national pride.

I personally saw on of those "woody" K wagons run that fast. It had a goofy homemade scoop on the hood that had "WOOD SCOOP" written on in with magic marker. That was some funny crap. Wicked fast though.
