hello, i have a 2002 nissan cedric y31 with a 3L V6 and i've recently had immobilizer problems as the car refuses to start or even crank. unfortunately the dealership was not able to work on it and neither were independent mechanics probably because of the different obd port(obd1).
i wonder if any of you have encountered such a problem and im looking for your help.
i did try disconnecting the battery and charging it yet nothing happened and they keys are still going strong and transmit perfectly.
does buying an obd adapter and hooking it up and resetting the system(ECU) work ?

immobilizer?

is that like the Q36 Immodium space modulator?
