I have a 2000 Frontier V6 with some battery or alternator issues. Every now and then my car goes completely dead, no clicking noises or anything. The power locks don't even work. It's like there is no battery in there at all. When i jump it off, it works for a couple of days to a week and then dies again. Usually it dies when I have just driven the car and turned it off, then try to turn it on again. I had this problem with my old battery, but I now have a new battery and have the same problem. Help!!!!

Sounds like a corrosion issue to me.

Have you had the battery and alternator tested? Many parts stores will do this for you for free.

Look for the nasty white corrosion around your battery connectors. If you have ANY, pull the connectors and clean everything with baking soda, water, and a wire brush.

Then, look over your connectors. Nissan put some pretty cheap connectors on their battery cables. If they're corroded thin, or starting to break where they wrap around the battery posts, replace the cables. If you want to go on the cheap, you can get replacement connectors at the parts stores for a couple bucks, but make sure when you install them, that you have a solid, tight connection to the newly stripped cable.

Use some electrical grease on the connectors when you reassemble. That will help resist corrosion going forward. White lithium grease works well too.

Check the water levels in your battery. If low, top off with distilled water to the bottom of the split ring in each hole.
