No, but I can guarantee you that Nissan orders a crap ton of "nissan" symbols for all of their cars...and they're all plastic.michaelthepsycho wrote:Not every A/c has exact same details, especially cosmetically. Maybe he DOES have metal emblems, who knows @_@

Perhaps there's some paint missing or a scratch and the water that gets trapped at the ridges of the emblem have caused that area to rust. Anyway... this thread is worthless without seeing the problem. So OP, determine if it is really rust. If it is, go to the dealership, this should be well within the rust/perforation warranty or you can argue that its a defect in the painting process.
Yea it is a little dirty. I only find time to clean it once every 2 weeks and its about that time. I know living by the ocean can cause it but I am mainland (10 min from the beach) and my car is garage kept, plus it is friggin new! I just hit 3000 miles, I dont see how there coul be rust already. I am taking it to the dealer next week, I wonder what they will say.tige1981 wrote: That sucks, car kinda looks dirty and he lives in Florida by the ocean. Doesn't take much to rust over there. A little saltwater in that crevice with tiny nicks in the paint. Dealer will definitely take care of it.
