Nissan Armada 2008 lift gate

Liftgate would not operate with FOB or manually lifting the rear door handle. I could tell it wasn't electrical because I could hear the motor turning. I noticed that the lift arm was loose, and assumed it became disconnected from the motor actuator. So i removed the jack hoping to reach ro the arm and reconnect it but i couldn't get it. I also tried to remove the hard plastic interior side that covering the area but couldn't figure out how to do it. Is there anyone here who had a similar issue? How did you fix it or how to remove the cover?

i encourage you to get the service manual for that truck and look at what you need to do to access the parts. once you see how to remove it properly things will come into perspective.
