Even without partnership from Dodge, Ghosn says Nissan is going to stay in the large truck market. Some speculate that a collaboration between Nissan and Toyota could help the Japanese automakers compete against the Big 3 at what they do best....build trucks.

Although we all love Nissans, they just can't compete with the Big 3 in what they've been doing for decades.

No arguments there. Ford sold more trucks last month than Nissan has sold all year. Ford claims that the F-150 has been the best-selling truck 32 years running.

I have driven all the major big trucks all new and from a nissan lover let me say, the Toyota is by far the best big truck on the market to me. Power looks towing handling and ride. Fit and finish inside better by far than any american truck. I like nissans but Toyota has the best full size I have driven and I have driven them all.

I would certainly prefer a partnership with Toyota than one with Dodge...

A Titan with those Dodge rednecks from the commercials screaming "she's got a Hemi" never appealed to me.

The funny part is it's not even a hemi.
