Either the clutch is installed wrong or you have damage to the transmission itself.

I can disengage the clutch fine, and the transmission is fine but when the clutch first went out I could not remove it from 6th gear to neutral and now with the new clutch, it is still in 6th everyting is moving like it should just nothing but 6th gear

I'll have to defer to someone who knows more about the internal workings of a transmission. If everything moves right, clutch is in right, and you only have 6th gear then it sounds like a transmission issue and not a clutch install issue.

Sounds like your transmission is screwed up. You probably need to take it to a reputable shop, because it could be something very simple to fix if they catch it now. It could simply just be hung up in the gear, but trying to mess with it yourself may cause further damage to it. Transmissions are fickle bishez.

The clutch definitely is not causing the problem though.
