I am planning to rent a car soon for a long road trip and the two choices for a full size car at the local car rental company are a Nissan Altima or a Chevy Impala. They both cost the same. Which would be the better choice?

Is that a real question? This is an Altima forum..Choose the Altima...Of course.

Our fleet cars for travel at work are Impala's.....and I hate every time I have to use one.

Altima - no questions.

Japan always makes the best stuff. Doesn't propaganda teach you anything?

Seriously though. get the altima. make sure it has the technology package with the Nav system. Trust me. You won't regret it

i agree with what everyone is saying. the altima is your best choice. Done a 1000mile road trip with mines and was able to get around on just 2 full tanks. gets great gas mileage man. and I've been in the impala, too big for my taste.
