Nissan Altima Meet 9.28.08 Brooklyn, NY

I've already posted this in nissanclub and lituners. going to keep you guys in the loop too.

We don't have too many Altima meets here in Brooklyn so let's organize one @ Floyd Bennett Field. It is an airfield with a lot of open space so we don't have to worry about having little room. Other Nissan's are welcome to come so post in their forums. There are patrol cars there so I think most of you should know the rules.

most of the feedback is coming from the other nissan forums. we have around 18+ cars attending. hopefully, it doesn't rain or we will have to postpone.

i have a 3rd gen 2002 2.5s. i rarely see 1st gens... where are all the other nissan/altimas on this forum?

i have no idea where the altimas are on this forum...try the main homepage....click on forums and then click on nissan/infiniti and scroll down to altimas. u can click on the gen u got...i have a 1st gen and two of my boys that are coming also got 1st gen's....your altima is stock or u got mods done to it...have u ever went to floyd bennet field before for a car meet...cuz i dont want cops messing with us...i jus hope its legit.

there's no fun in running stock the weather channels are saying that it won't rain and that it might rain. so i dont know...it's still a bit early to tell what's going to happen. i will post updates. but if you want you can also check this thread from nissanclub. http://www.nissanclub.com/foru....html

no doubt...my car is pretty much stock with a few bolt ons...im actually getting a new set of headers and im planning to put a cam in about 3 weeks or so....well im hoping the weather clears up so we can get thiss meet on...all the mewets i go to is mostly honduhs so it would be great to go to just an altima 1...anyway keep me posted...is yur car manual?

either you're driving stock or modded it's still fun to own a altima. unfortunately, i have an auto but i'm thinking about getting a manual car in the future. the meet is still on for tomorrow. it should be fine have a meet there as long as we don't do anything stupid...

alright cool...im planning to convert mine into manual or put a shifter kit in..im still deciding wat to do...stock altimas are ok..but i just dont like when they arent dropped...i personally like dropp cars...i dropped mine about 2 and half inches..anyway i guess i'll see you at the meet bro..peace...if anything changes tonight or in the morning keep me posted

we were at the spot for while, i would say 2hrs. it wasn't raining at all. nobody else came so we decided to hit another spot around floyld bennet field for some pictures. i did see your car when we left the floyld bennet field. there was 8 of us driving out and i was the beige one leading the group. you also came to burger king right? we saw you as we got out. anyway, there might be a mini meet in brooklyn this weekend. someone might plan it. by the way, are you on nissanclub.com?

i was there with my boy..he had the purple looking first gen...we got their kind of late because i had to wait for him...he lives on exit one on the belt...we were at floyd bennett for a while waiting we saw another first gen parked their but no one was in the car...and it was by luck i saw you guys role out....and we followed yall..i dont know if it was you i talked to by the light at ave U...he said you guys we heading to burger king...it took me a while to find it because im not from around brooklynn..i live in queens...so when i finally found yall i didnt want it to seem like i was a stalker so i jus got something to eat and left...keep me informed if anything goes down this weekend...theres a meet in longisland every wednesday...all cars are welcomed..i dont know if you guys wanna check it out...its not deep in long island...lket me know...im not a member of nissan club....jus nico...anyway hit me back up bro and let me know whats up..peace
