Nissan Altima 2008 Problems & Complaints Hot Air Blowing From Air Vents

I was driving today and hot air was blowing from my floor air vents. Has anyone else had similar issue with there A/C? I found this on carcomplaints.com but I have a 3.5.

Every car does this, to some extent when the system is set to off. The vents are always "open" as to not create a vacuumn within the car (if you close the vents on a hot day, your windows could actually pop due to the heat and pressure buildup in the car). Best bet is to always have the HVAC on at a setting thats comfortable.

+1 when this happened in my last car i was so upset, until i realized you need to have it on a comfort temp setting when its off too!

If you crank the heat dial to "HELL" then turn the heat off, it will still "seep" out.... put it on "icebox" and turn it off, you get the freezer door syndrome...

I leave my electronic temp at 74 most times
