I just bought a Titan, and as part of the deal the salesman promised that I could get some accessories "at his cost".
Is there anywhere I can verify or see what the "dealer cost" is on these accessories? I don't want the weasle to screw me out of some $$$.

Call one of our advertisers (Pinnacle, Midway, Scottsdale or Trophy). They should be glad to tell you.
My guess is he's full of crap - If the salesman said at HIS cost, that's no big deal. We get the same discount as the employees anyway from our advertisers.
Make sure to tell him if you get a price from our advertisers that is less - He needs a smack in the head.

Sure! I got a "Smoke" Titan LE, with everything except the "Off Road" package. Even though I would have liked that, I would have had to wait another 6 weeks or more to get one exactly as I ordered.
Mine has: 4x4, LE Package, DVD Entertainment (had to get, won't use, but required as part of NAVI option), Floor Mats, NAVI, Side Airbag Package, Splash Guards, Sunroof Package, Big Tow Package, XM Sat Radio. Paid list: $41,060
Traded in a 2003 Q45 Premium. They tried to rake me over the coals on this one. It had 24,000 miles on it, and I know that 1) Q45s have bad resale, and 2) After one year with high mileage, I was going to get hosed....but they only offered me $36,000 to start. NO WAY. Even though I got $7K off list when I bought it, I told them I would not take less than $40K. After almost leaving, I got it.
So, I lost some $$ on the Q, but hopefully the Titan will make up for it.
PS - I started out asking for $42 for the Q.

Tell me about it. He called and told me "my" price of the sliding cab extender was $ 259, which is the standard list price.
PS - I did no financing with them, since I only owed $10K on the Q, I decided not to finance and use a Home Equity Line of Credit and just write him a check for the balance.
I may have gotten this deal as the truck was ordered for someone who cancelled, so they had it coming in already and probably had no buyer. This way, they moved it right away. Plus, it was the old "end of the month"!!
PS - Why is the Q such a dog on resale? It's really such a nice car. Everyone who ever rode in it said that it was the "nicest car they'd ever been in". The reclining rear seats and ventalated front seats, along with the back up camera (which should be in the Titan) also got a lot of ooohs and aaahs.

Thanks for the info, jd. Lowest web price I found was $231.25. I still don't have the truck (not in yet), but will try to get it for at most $231.25.
