Hey guys, Im new to this forum and i really like it so far. I had a question about changing my Gear oil on my 2003 NISSAN 350Z. The car is a 6 speed manual transmission. i want to change the gear oil and i dont have a lift to lift my car. so what i heard was that i can remove the fill plug hole in the transmission and fill the transmission thru the shifter by removing the shifter. I was just wondering if this is possible and how should i go thru and do this. Thanks

dont need a lift you can just jack the car up and see its bs, or remove the shifter. the shifter dosnt connect directly to the trans it mounts to a detachable bracket and connects to the shift rod coming out of the transmission. get a fluid transfer pump, jack up the car, drain from the plug on the bottom, then fill from the fill plug on the side using the transfer plug.
