Nissan 300zx

I am looking into buying a 1985 Nissan 300zx 2 seater non-turbo automatic and I was wondering if there is any maintenance or than the basic tune up that I might need to keep check on like timing belt or etc.

Any help would be appreciated.

timing belt, tensioner, water pump, cam seals, crank sealthats one big thing to get out of the way if you can.

when you say tune up i would urge you to include brand new nissan wires cap and rotor with the ngk plugs.

check for recalls(at the dealership) as i cant remember which years of z31 had the fuel injector recall on them.

look up under the car and you will prob find many little things needing replaced. be sure to check all hoses for wear and tear.

One other question is there a certain mileage or time that I need to keep changing the belt after this time?

And on the Nissan wires and cap and rotor I need to go to the Nissan Dealership for those or is there somewhere else i can get them?

I have yet one last question and I am just wonder if you could give me rough price on the tune-up parts from the dealer and I know price will probable vary alittle due to different states also can you tell me what a new Air Mass Meter will cost from the dealer. I have looked around on the internet for the meter and the prices where ranging from $250 to $400 and I was wondering if the prices is close to that.

I am correct that you work a Nissan Dealership right?

Also the reason I am asking you is because the dealership in town is irritating to get anything out of them and don't have time to go by the one in the town that 30 minutes away from me.
