So, I purchased a set of two tires from Tirerack, but I had a brainfart and ordered 255/50/20 and those will def not fit inside the wheels well. I am currently running 255/35/20.Whilst I was at my buddy's shop contemplating what to do, a fellow NICO member showed up with his '98 S14 and after talking a bit decided to sell me his 300zx wheels with tires. Will those work with a '04 Maxima? I know the offset is pretty goof in order to clear the big 4 piston calipers, but will it work? Thanks for the help, I really need to know ASAP, cause I need to send the tires back to Tirerack, get my baby off the donut, and buy this new shoes ;-)

Not sure how relavant ths may be, but I'm running 05 Touring 18" Z wheels on my 95 Max. The front sticks out slightly, but given the opening and the stiff springs there, it has no issues. The rears look quite good, but due to the beam axle, there is no camber gain as both sides compress. I'm running take-off's from the G35 I had which are 225/45-18. I tried the Potenza S0-3's in the rear and they rubbed the sidewall on big bumps. The pilot sports have slightly narrower shoulderwith so it clears much better, but can still rub on big dips when I have rear passengers. I am also lowered on H&R springs so if your running stock springs, or stiffer springs(H&R's are very soft for the 95 maxima). Of course, this would assume the clearances are real similar in a 04 Max to the 95. I'm not sure what the Z32 wheel offsets are.

Look at the Falken FK452's they have narrow shoulders and are a great tire.

Repo's got a thread somewhere about 16's he wanted and the Z32 wheels. The NA and Turbo are diff widths/offsets, but I'm almost certain they'll work for a Max.

04 Maxima rotors are 12.5" and 300zx rotors are 11". 300zx wheels are 16" with 35mm offset and there wasn't a lot of room left, IIRC. I doubt the 300zx wheels will clear your 6th gen Maxima brakes.
