If i understand what your talking about its the crank pulley system (3 pulleys in a row) held on by 1 big bolt (crank bolt) which is a 1 1/8th inch bolt. Its hard to get off but use a long pipe and a good amount of torque it comes right off. Then there are little semi circles (locks) that slide out of the metal crank shaft. take the locks out with a flat screw driver. then with a rubber mallet hit the crank pulley off. Then there is another little semi-circle metal lock piece again. Take it out and then hit the remaining 2 pulleys off. The from MAIN SEAL (covers the bottom of the timing chain) goes about an inch into the iol pan, i would remove the pan then it comes right off. Good luck! its not hard just time consuming. about an hour and a half if your being careful!
