nissan 240sx ka24de overheating

i just bougt a 91 240sx ka24de for $300. it had a blown head gasket. i rebuilt the engine with new thermostat, water pump, rod and main bearings and other miscellaneous stuff. it runs great until i take it for a drive and after a couple miles it overheats. ive tried to bleed the air out of the system and after a hour and a half i gave up. the bubles just seemed to never end. im new to foreign vehicles so i dont know if i missed some thing any info would be greatly appreciated thank you

try elevating the front end of the car, i use jackstands and a slanted driveway. ka motors can be hard to get the air out of.

i used a jack to lift the front of the car. also shook the car and turned on the heater.
