Hey everyone
I have a 1995 Nissan 240sx s14 its been bogging out when I reach 4000rpm so I changed the fuel filter distributor cap and spark plugs. Now it's bogging whenever it wants to from 2000-4000 rpm can anyone give me any suggestions.?
I've changed all ignition and fuel i cleaned my MAF so I'm gonna take it for a drive and see if that helped. It was a automatic converted to Manuel so my check engine light has been on since that. Never shut off.

I know you changed the plugs, but plug wires could be an issue as well. Also, there is a small rubber gasket on the distributor itself. If that is cracked or dry rotted it could cause some interference. I have had similar issues on my car. After I changed those things, it ran better. You can look at it as an opportunity to upgrade plug wires!

Put a scanner on there and check your codes, just because the light is always on, doesn't mean you don't have new codes to review. It's a '95, so you'll have an OBD-II scan port under your dash (passenger side for early model, driver side for later model). Let us know what you find. I wouldn't be surprised to see TPS or MAF codes.

I'll be putting the scanner on today. After cleaning my MAF sensor it's running better but still bogging. I'll let you know about the scanner as soon as I check it out. I also did the spark wires as well as plugs too.
