I've never seen a Benz key like that, my brother's Audi key does that though. Benz does the laser cut ones now anyway... that's still cool, its like a switch blade. And how can it be 240 specific? Shouldn't it work for any car if its blank?

Those 2 ridges on the side of the keys, the tracks, determine if a key will enter a certain lock at all. Nissans from 89-00 pretty much all have the same track, so it's not really 240 specific, as he said, it fits altys too.

Yeah some (mostly newer) Benz's have that style key. I am a valet so I am familiar with all types of keys :) Personally I like the BMW key on the 745LI, there really isn't a "key" you just stick the little box that has the door and trunk switch right into a slot on the dash, then hit the start button on the digital shifter which is on the steering column. Pretty Pimptastic. Jaguar keys are pretty cool too.
